LibraryThing and Information Management

Now that a handheld trigger-scanner is coming my way, I’ve created a LibraryThing account for myself. So far, I’ve just manually added books I had at the office; the major imports will come when I get the scanner and a friend helps me whip through my bookcases at home. I’m looking forward to organizing (and tagging) my books there, and using the site tools for metrics, social info (who’s tagging which of my books how?), and discovery.
